The “2021-2022 Academic Year Student Communities Award Ceremony” organized by the Health, Culture and Sports Department of our University was held in the F Block Conference Hall of the Faculty of Education of Gazi.
The Ceremony was attended by Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr . Fazlı Polat, Social Affairs Institution Coordinator Prof. Dr . Selami Candan, Deans, Heads of Departments, Community Academic Leaders, students and guests attended.
Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr . Fazlı Polat made the opening speech "Student communities are a part of University life and include communities formed by coming together to support the social and cultural academic development of students in order to evaluate the time Decoupled from the educational activities of students. Student groups in our communities as they did during the academic year by our department of international, national and corporate events, their stands, they magazines, member numbers, even the disabled student membership and member of the board of directors, are assessed and given a score of their performance in areas such as media coverage, and we are happy to welcome the 10 community with the highest scores in here today and that we are happy to the work we're doing and we wanted to make everyone feel it." said.
Our Vice-Rector Prof. who gave the information that there are 148 student communities established and operating within the University. Dr . Fazlı Polat continued as follows: “These communities are active in many fields ranging from sports to music, science to technology, culture to art, nature, social responsibility projects,” he said.
Our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr . Fazlı Polat concluded his speech as follows: “As Gazi University, I would like to state that we are always on the side of the student communities. I hereby congratulate the academic leaders and community members of the student communities who received the award and wish success to all our communities operating at our University.”
In addition, at the ceremony, the gifts were presented to the students who won the degree in the “Gazi Award-Winning Photography Contest on My Horizon”, which was held by the Turkish Art Community of the Faculty of Education of Gazi among the students of our University.

The certificates were presented to 46 students who completed the 16-hour course in “Project Writing Training for Undergraduate Students" organized by the Student Communities Unit of the Directorate of Cultural Services of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports and were entitled to receive a certificate by the Project Coordination Application and Research Center.
Director of the Project Coordination Application and Research Center Prof.Dr .Salih Şahin stated that ”the project writing education will continue in the coming semesters and that he expects the participation of all undergraduate students".
We congratulate our Student Communities on their work and achievements and wish that this sweet competition will take our University further.
